Crowns of the Pharaohs: Missing Artifacts or Artistic Symbols of Divinity?

Updated: Jul 25

In Ancient Egypt, crowns were used to depict gods and pharaohs, and Egyptologists believe they were also buried with them for the afterlife. However, no physical crowns have been found in or outside any tombs. Did these crowns truly exist? Could grave robbers have stolen every single one? Since not all graves were looted before being discovered by archaeologists, it supports the theory that crowns were solely used in images and statues to signify a significant phase in a pharaoh's life.
